Operation Excellence Specialist

As an Electrical/Electronics Engineer at Aptiv, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing automotive products focusing on Active Safety and User-Experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Training team members in the use of lean tools/techniques and assisting in training others - Leading and coordinating Kaizen/Lean workshops to drive continuous improvement culture - Applying lean-manufacturing concepts to improve key metrics such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity - Identifying project opportunities and conducting Value Stream Analysis to enhance flow and eliminate waste - Implementing Lean Management System including Visual Controls, Layered Process Audits, and Kaizen Suggestion System - Developing Hoshin Kanri plans, standardizing site KPIs, and creating a Lean Communication plan - Promoting a safety-first mindset through Behavior Based Safety training and positive reinforcement - Contributing to new business initiatives and projects, assessing their impact on Lean activities Your background should meet the following qualifications: - Minimum 8 to 12 years of working experience - Six Sigma Black/Green Belt or equivalent Lean certification - Hands-on experience with various lean tools and techniques - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering - Proficiency in Business English and Microsoft skills - Ability to lead a multi-disciplined team effectively Joining Aptiv will provide you with opportunities for growth in an inclusive work environment where safety is a core value.
