Job Description

Operations:

· Plans, organizes and directs day-to-day operations of the Bakery Department,

· Ensure FSSAI standards in all the process of Bakery Production..

· Conducts daily inspections of all Bakery department sections and initiates corrective measures to ensure compliance with product quality standards, sanitation, safety and security requirements.

· Divide responsibilities and tasks across the team to make production and packaging more efficient.

· Monitor and regulate staffing needs to ensure optimum staffing levels are supporting business demands.

· Monitor the availability of raw materials and machinery working conditions to meet out the daily operations

· Oversees and assists with all bakery department duties such as: proofing, baking, decorating, slicing and packaging fresh bakery products.

· Implements effective promotional and seasonal displays.

· Ensures that bakery product quality, baking and decorating standards are met.

· Complies with retail labelling laws, federal and state regulations and Company policies.

· Ensure customer orders are completed on time and to budget and that quality standards and targets are met.

· Organise the repair of any damaged equipment.

· Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times

· Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.

Finance:

· Analyse production, quality control and budgetary outcome of projects and equipment stock and tracking programs for increased financial effectiveness Oversee consumable..

· Orders, checks, receives and controls inventory to ensure adequate product quantity, quality and freshness and maintains inventory levels.. Conducts periodic inventories, processes administrative paperwork and maintains accurate department records

· Monitor all the raw material purchases and expenses in an effective manner.

· Implement cost control programs or procedures to ensure zero wastages and optimum use of resources.

Sales and Marketing:

· Identify sales opportunity with existing sales points and provide adequate supply of products as per the schedule.

· Assesses product sales data by calling on customers with field salespeople and evaluate sales results.

· Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability in sales points by reviewing and adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.

· Identify new customers and do regular follow up until get orders.

· Monitor existing and new recipe followed by the Baker as per the standards approved by management. Also ensure all the new products should meet customer`s specification.

· Explore product information and details to customers and visitors as required.

· Monitor the customer complaints and resolve queries in an effective manner.

· Track all sales records and submit all the sales reports as per the schedule.

· Identify slow and fast moving products in-order to forecast future inventory and production schedule.

Administration:

· Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention and termination activities.

· Oversee and review the staff attendance as well as vacation approvals.

· Monitor and schedule and other training for new or existing employee.

· Aware of functions and services provided by other departments / Organization and provides clear and relevant information when collaborating with other department.

· Update staff regularly for any changes in the department related processes and protocols, take updates from staff for problems being faced by them.

· Motivates department staff towards organization goals.

· Work with managers to implement the company's policies and goals.

· Ensure smooth relationships with customers and co-workers.

· Ensure prompt reports and records of all crafts and cleaners purchase, production and sales.

· Participate in all the meetings organized by the management

· Assist with senior manager for other admin related tasks as required by the organization in support of its operations.

· Coordinate Govt compliances with operations head.

Required Skills / Qualification:

· Qualification: HSc/Diploma in Hotel Management.

· Experience : 2 years in Supervision of Bakery / Hotel Industry

· Knowledge of Bakery equipments.

· Optimum utilization of resources.

·.·Exceptional customer service skills.

· Planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process

· The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment-related problems.

· The capacity to grasp complex concepts easily.

· Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality.

· The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with team, managers and clients

· Strong negotiation skills for getting materials within budget at the right time.

· The ability to work under pressure and multitasking.

· Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines a results-driven approach to work
