Role Description

This part-time, remote role as an Online Scratch Tutor involves teaching programming to students through interactive and engaging online sessions. Tutors will be responsible for providing personalized feedback, assisting students in developing coding projects, and fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment. The position requires flexible scheduling in line with US time zones (2:30 AM-7:30 AM) to accommodate students' availability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Scratch programming and a strong understanding of coding concepts
• Effective communication and teaching skills, especially with children
• Patience and creativity in explaining concepts in a simple, engaging manner
• Experience in online teaching or tutoring is a plus
• Technical skills to troubleshoot common online teaching tools and platforms
• A bachelor's degree or ongoing program in Computer Science, Education, or related field preferred
• Passion for coding and a strong desire to inspire young learners
