Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining BestEx Research as a Lead Onboarding Specialist to oversee and manage client onboarding for the electronic trading platform. This role will require a combination of hands-on technical expertise and leadership responsibilities, including guiding a team of onboarding specialists, driving process improvements, and serving as the senior escalation point for complex integrations. Your role will involve managing client relationships with top-tier institutions and ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of onboarding specialists and integration engineers - Define best practices, certification processes, and documentation standards for client onboarding - Serve as the senior escalation point for technical or workflow challenges during onboarding - Manage onboarding project timelines and ensure delivery across multiple clients simultaneously - Partner with sales, product, and technology leadership to align onboarding with business priorities - Oversee and personally manage complex client integrations from certification to production go-live - Guide clients through FIX connectivity setup, certification, and custom workflow implementation - Test and validate order routing, algo workflows, and post-trade allocations across asset classes - Communicate with senior client stakeholders to provide transparency and confidence throughout the onboarding process - Drive continuous improvement to reduce time-to-market for client onboarding - Establish and monitor KPIs for onboarding efficiency, client satisfaction, and go-live success rates - Collaborate with product and technology teams to provide feedback from onboarding that informs platform enhancements - Maintain deep knowledge of trading regulations, exchange rules, and evolving FIX standards to keep onboarding processes current Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field - 6+ years of experience in trading technology onboarding, FIX connectivity, or client integration - Strong expertise in FIX protocol (4.2/4.4/5.0) and trading workflows for equities, futures, options, FX, etc. - Proven experience managing multiple large-scale client onboarding projects - Leadership experience, either as a team lead or in a senior mentoring role - Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders - Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work in high-pressure trading environments,
