As a Solution Architect at Services, you will play a crucial role in re-engineering data flows, defining data models, and providing technical guidance to drive the transformation of Core Accounts Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of global banking platforms and address current needs on existing platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for re-engineering data flows between Core Accounts DDA platform, Reference Data platforms, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and local reporting systems - Drive data architecture and roadmap to eliminate non-strategic connections and batch handoffs - Define canonical data models for key entities related to Customer, Account, and Core DDA - Assess opportunities to simplify and refactor existing database schemas - Provide technical guidance to Data Engineers for designing Operational Data Store and developing data models - Formulate strategy for report migration and rationalization - Build and lead an engineering organization to deliver value to clients - Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders across business, operations, and technology divisions - Monitor and control all phases of development process, provide user support, and operational support - Liaise with Product Owners to translate User Stories into technical requirements **Qualifications:** - Experience in Data modeling, Data lineage analysis, and Operational reporting - Proven architecture experience in scalable, resilient data distribution platforms - Proficient in message queuing, stream processing, and big data data stores - Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases - Experience with root cause analysis and working with unstructured datasets - Extensive experience with Data Integration and Real/Near Real-time streaming patterns - Background in Data Management, Data Governance, and Transformation initiatives - Preferred experience with Big data platforms, Relational SQL, NoSQL, and Cloud Native databases - 6+ years of relevant industry experience If you are a person with a disability and need a reasonable accommodation to use search tools and/or apply for a career opportunity, review Accessibility at Citi.
