Officer - Ammonia

As an Officer-Ammonia at Bunge located in Krishnapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India, your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of utility equipment and Vanaspati Production while upholding quality and food safety standards. Your main accountabilities include operating and maintaining packing utility equipment such as chillers, air compressors, ammonia systems, cold rooms, and cooling towers. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of Vanaspati FG to dispatch, monitoring equipment parameters, operating the refinery & bakery ammonia plant, and adhering to safety, food safety, and HACCP standards. Furthermore, you will conduct pre-shift risk assessments, toolbox talks with the team, optimize manpower utilization, sustain 5s & housekeeping in the ammonia plant, perform online quality checks of cold room parameters, and ensure proper cleaning and drying of Vanaspati tins for timely handover to dispatch. It will be your responsibility to conduct regular machine health check-ups, follow maintenance schedules, minimize wastage and damage to oil and packing materials, maintain shift records and logbooks, and facilitate proper handovers. To excel in this role, you are expected to leverage your knowledge of Bunge's business, structure, and strategy to develop innovative solutions and drive results. Building partnerships, influencing effectively, fostering talent, and coaching others will be key aspects of your behavior. Additionally, you should demonstrate technical proficiency in areas such as chillers, air compressors, ammonia systems, cold rooms, cooling towers, PM, troubleshooting, DCS/SCADA operations, and GMP. Ideally, you should possess an ITI/Diploma qualification with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
