It includes selecting recipes from SCADA for Plating, Geomet process, and creating batch numbers. Daily verification of check sheets and reporting concerns to the Department Head and Maintenance is essential. The role also requires knowledge of ZLD plant operation and troubleshooting, along with conducting process-related training for Supervisors and operators. Monitoring and reducing Major losses in Plating and Geomet OEE, as well as tracking surface finishing energy and consumable consumption are key responsibilities. Daily calibration and correction of all pH meters, along with overseeing operations such as Barrel Alkaline Zinc Plating, Zinc Flake Coating, Zinc Phosphate Wastewater Treatment, and Zero Liquid Discharge water treatment plant is crucial. The candidate will be accountable for ensuring daily production of approximately 100 MT from 6 different production lines. Additionally, familiarity with CQ11 and CQ12 standards is an important expectation. Job Title: Assistant Manager CNC Maintenance Department: Engineering / Maintenance Location: Mumbai Reports To: Manager & Senior Manager - Maintenance Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics Experience: 5+ years in CNC maintenance (preferably in manufacturing, precision engineering, or tooling environment) Job Purpose: To ensure optimal performance, uptime, and reliability of CNC machinery through preventive and corrective maintenance, supporting uninterrupted production and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities: • Maintenance Planning & Execution: 1. Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for CNC machines (e.g., VMC, HMC, turning centers, wire-cut, EDM). 2. Maintain and update maintenance logs, history cards, and service records. • Troubleshooting & Repairs: 1. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and PLC faults on CNC machines. 2. Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for complex issues and spare part procurement. • Performance Monitoring: 1. Monitor machine performance using TPM/OEE metrics and take corrective actions. 2. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for frequent or major breakdowns and implement CAPA. • Process & System Improvement: 1. Support upgrades or retrofits of CNC equipment. 2. Recommend improvements for energy efficiency, machine life, and tooling compatibility. • Team & Compliance: 1. Guide and train junior technicians. 2. Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and ISO/TPM/Lean practices in the maintenance area. Key Skills & Competencies: • In-depth knowledge of CNC machine operations, controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi), and mechanics. • Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, and electrical systems. • Familiar with TPM principles, maintenance KPIs, and continuous improvement methodologies. • Good communication and vendor coordination skills. • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities. Desirable Qualifications (Optional): • Certification in CNC programming or maintenance. • Exposure to Industry 4.0 tools or CMMS systems

As the Manager- Continuous Improvement at Krishnapatnam, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives within the unit. Your main activities will include reducing equipment downtimes through RCA's and ensuring adherence to preventive maintenance schedules. You will review processes to identify gaps between current outputs and expected requirements, and implement various methodologies such as 5s, Kaizen, TPM, and Autonomous Maintenance. Your role will involve optimizing assets, energy, manpower, and processes at the plant level to improve efficiency. You will focus on increasing OEE by implementing continuous monitoring systems, enhancing capacity utilization of assets, and ensuring zero valid product complaints in terms of Quality & Food Safety. Additionally, you will work towards reducing FG Leakage/Damage at the plant level and monitoring budget adherence. Your educational qualifications should include a B.Tech / M. Tech degree, CI certification, ISO certification, and Food Safety certification, along with 12-15 years of relevant experience. You should possess leadership skills, planning and execution abilities, as well as knowledge of SAP. Key Performance Indicators for this role include auditing skills, quality control, ISO standards, root cause analysis, drafting skills, and knowledge of various management systems. You should also demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, and mentoring skills to drive process improvements effectively. In addition to strong technical knowledge and analytical skills, you must have good people management skills.
