Odoo Developer Customization Specialist

You will be joining our team as an Odoo Developer, where your primary responsibility will be to customize and enhance our Odoo ERP system. You should have a strong background in Odoo development, Python programming, and a good understanding of business workflows across various modules like Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, and HR. Your key responsibilities will include customizing and extending existing Odoo modules to align with business requirements, developing new modules, and integrating them with third-party applications/APIs. You will configure the Odoo ERP system according to client or internal team needs, collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to comprehend functional requirements, and write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Additionally, you will conduct unit testing, provide user acceptance testing support, troubleshoot deployed Odoo solutions, and maintain Odoo environments while assisting with upgrades and patches. Your core technical skills should encompass Odoo (v12-v16) development and customization, proficiency in Python (especially Odoo ORM and scripting), a strong grasp of Odoo architecture and modular structure, hands-on experience with PostgreSQL databases, proficiency in XML for Odoo views, and a good understanding of JavaScript for client-side logic and custom widgets. In terms of web technologies, you should be well-versed in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, and have experience with either Bootstrap or Tailwind for UI customizations. Familiarity with tools such as Git, GitHub, GitLab for version control, Docker (optional but advantageous), and deployment experience with Odoo.sh or self-hosted Odoo servers will be beneficial for this role. Moreover, your expertise should extend to working with REST APIs, JSON, and integrating various systems. Your ability to collaborate with different stakeholders, understand complex business workflows, and deliver high-quality solutions will be crucial for success in this role.,
