Occupational Therapist

The Occupational Therapist (OT) plays a key role in supporting the developmental, sensory, motor, and functional needs of children attending Dr. Beema Clinic. The OT will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions tailored to each child to enhance independence, participation, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed developmental, sensory, motor, and functional assessments for children.
• Interpret assessment results and identify areas requiring intervention.
• Prepare individualized therapy plans (ITPs) based on each child’s needs.

Ø Therapy & Intervention

• Deliver one-on-one OT sessions using evidence-based techniques.
• Work on sensory integration, fine motor skills, visual–motor coordination, self-care skills, handwriting support, behavioral regulation, and daily living activities.
• Use structured tools, equipment, and play-based methods to enhance learning and engagement.

Ø Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate daily session notes, progress reports, and evaluation records.
• Update therapy goals periodically based on child’s progress.
• Submit reports to the clinic administration as needed.

Ø Interdisciplinary Coordination

• Work closely with ABA therapists.
• Participate in case discussions and team meetings.
• Support goal alignment across all therapy departments in the clinic.

Ø Parent & Caregiver Collaboration

• Provide regular feedback to parents after sessions.
• Guide parents with home-based activities and strategies.
• Involve caregivers in the therapeutic process for better outcomes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
