One of our client looking for an OCC System Design Expert with 1015 years of experience to design, implement, and optimize control center systems. The role requires strong knowledge of system integration, monitoring tools, and operations management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, review, and validation of OCC system architecture and detailed designs, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards (e.g., IEC, ISO, EN).
- Develop the
conceptual design
for the OCC and BoCC, followed by the preliminary design
phase prior to tendering. - Prepare comprehensive
tender documentation
for both OCC and BoCC infrastructure. - Ensure active participation in
client meetings
, interface coordination
, and stakeholder engagement activities
throughout the design and delivery process. - Oversee the integration of various systems, including SCADA, signaling (e.g., CBTC), video surveillance systems, Passenger Information Systems (PIS & PAS), and telecommunications networks, ensuring all components work together seamlessly.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all system designs and procedures comply with safety regulations and relevant legislation. Participate in hazard identification and risk assessment processes.Stakeholder Management:
Act as a primary technical point of contact for clients and internal operations teams to coordinate activities and resolve complex technical issues.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Experience:
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in multiple OCC system designs.
- Strong expertise in OCC technologies (SCADA, signaling interfaces, control systems, PIS, etc.).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in OCC system design preparation.
- Familiarity with relevant international standards.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and stakeholder presentations.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines
