An obstetrics (OB) nurse specializes in providing care to women during pregnancy, labor, childbirth, and the postpartum period, focusing on the health of both the mother and newborn. They act as caregivers, educators, and advocates, monitoring patient health, assisting with delivery, providing postpartum education and care, and addressing reproductive health concerns before, during, and after pregnancy. Key Responsibilities ·        Patient Assessment: OB nurses assess patients for potential risks during pregnancy and provide ongoing monitoring.  ·        Labor & Delivery: They assist the obstetrician during labor and delivery, monitor the mother and baby's well-being, and manage the labor process.  ·        Postpartum Care: After delivery, they provide care and education to new mothers and newborns, focusing on self-care and the well-being of the infant.  ·        Patient Education: They counsel women on topics such as conception, fertility, birth control, and cervical or uterine health.    Specialized Focus  ·        Pregnancy (Antenatal Care): Providing support, education, and examinations during pregnancy. ·        Childbirth (Intranatal Care): Managing and providing comfort during the labor process. ·        After Childbirth (Postnatal Care): Caring for the mother and newborn and preventing illness. Qualification: GNM/B.Sc Nursing/ANM Experience: Minimum 1yr Salary: minimum 18k based on performance Location: Hyderabad Gender: Female Timing: Rotational shift
