Job Description

To plan balanced, healthy and nutritious meals for the patients admitted in the hospital
To take detailed rounds of different wards in order to plan diet individually as per patient condition acceptability.
Does the nutritional assessment and reassessments of the Inpatients.
Provide dietary advice with appropriate patient information material to the patients at the time / before discharge and
Does appropriate diet planning and counselling and ensure patient satisfaction
Provide dietary advice to the health check and package patients.
Co-ordinate with the F&B department to ensure that meals served to the patients are according to their profile.
To give correct written instructions for all patients at all meal timings.
To maintain logbook for intradepartmental communication.
Does the food tasting of the in-patient meal
Does the documentation as per the department SOP
Ensures compliance with the laid down department process and guidelines
Give diet consults in the camps organized by the marketing team
Coordinates with nurses, F&B companion, consultants to ensure effective nutritional management of the patient.
Participates/Attends the inter and intradepartmental training
Keep abreast with latest research, development and technique in the field
