Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Staff Supervision:
Oversee nursing staff, delegate tasks, and ensure proper shift coverage.
Patient Care Coordination:
Monitor patient care plans, ensure timely medication administration, and address patient concerns.
Clinical Oversight:
Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, infection control, and safety standards.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between nurses, doctors, and administrative staff.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate patient records, incident reports, and shift summaries.
Training & Mentorship:
Support onboarding and continuous training of junior nurses.
Resource Management:
Monitor inventory of medical supplies and equipment; report shortages.
Emergency Response:
Lead nursing response during medical emergencies or critical situations.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:
B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with valid registration.
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of clinical experience; 12 years in a supervisory role preferred.
Skills:
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR)
Ability to manage stress and multitask
