Maintaining sanitation cleanliness of the unit. Receiving transfer of patients with all safety norms. Sending sample (post operative) for diagnostic evaluation as per requirement Providing comfort measures give pschycological support to the patient Taking care of elimination Help do positioning of the patient for different surgery Attaining in-service education. Collect sutures expensive disposablesinstruments return back the un-used materials after surgery. Help do positioning of the patient for different surgery Lays the instruments for the case before surgery maintains a count list. Assist the surgeon during surgery. Cleaning of instrumentsdisinfection packing for sterilization. Assist scrub nurse during surgery. Working as a circulating nurse Assist in recovery room management Clean give handover of instruments other surgical items to CSSD for sterilization. Observing the patient condition take prompt action Keeping surgery record maintain surgery checklist. Keeping update record Helping in taking OT inventory both instrument consumables Receive sterile item from CSSD to OT. Check sterile items Expiry maintain FIFO ( first in first out) Prepare disinfection solution dressing speanuts cotton tails etc. Maintain practice all infection control protocol of operation theatre.
