As a professional in channel sales, your primary responsibility will be to conceptualize and implement spare parts sales strategies nationwide through a distribution model. You will be tasked with establishing new distributors, particularly those already engaged with spares retailers, and nurturing existing relationships within the industry. Meeting distributors" sales targets, visiting partners regularly to encourage product stocking and sales, and collaborating with the marketing team on retailer marketing activities to enhance brand awareness are crucial aspects of the role. Additionally, you will be expected to generate reports and conduct basic data analysis for management reporting purposes. Extensive travel throughout the country is required to build direct relationships with key retailers, address on-ground business challenges, and identify new opportunities for growth. To excel in this position, you should possess a deep understanding of distribution sales, particularly in the spare parts sector, along with a proven track record of establishing and managing distributors for spare parts brands. Strong retail experience, a willingness to travel extensively, proficiency in creating various reports and presentations, prior work experience in the spares industry, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential requirements for this role. The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in channel sales, with a specific focus on the spare parts division. Comfort with nationwide travel and a commitment to full-time employment are key expectations for this role. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for this position, and the work location will be in person during day shifts.
