Job Summary

To enable quality management activities in new product development by working with design/ production and supplier stakeholders to enable high quality performance of the product by generating product quality report and analyzing the data at different stages.

• Identify, update and maintain data pipe lines, based on engineering targets and track product parameters and evaluate product performance.
• Generate project level quality summary at various stages by collecting all build quality, test results and design data.
• Create product quality template for tracking, monitoring and analyzing against various requirements.
• Connect Reliability, Test Capability and Field performance characteristics to enable the team to measure the product capabilities on quality and reliability.
• Initiate data collection, analysis and management processes to enable quality/ reliability supporting decision making ability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors/ Diploma in engineering disciplines- Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Metallurgy/ Mechatronics/ Automobile/ Reliability.
• Ability to work on complex electromechanical system integration and evaluation.
• Exposure/ experience of understanding quality management, tests, failures and test methods.
• Data analysis and data management exposure.

Knowledge and Skills

• Understand and operate know how of quality data collection, management and Periodic reporting..
• Understanding basic electrical/electronic circuits and line diagrams.
• Knowledge of environmental effects on products.
• Knowledge of battery and charger.
• Familiarity with automotive/ aerospace/ engineering documentation/ quality management processes.
• Ability to utilize first principles of engineering and statistics for real world problem solving and decision making.
