NPD - Food and Nutraceuticals (Junior)

As a Junior Food Technologist, you will be responsible for supporting R&D, pilot trials, sensory testing, and scaling products from concept to market. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in the development of high-protein and functional food products - Conducting experiments to enhance texture, flavor, solubility, and digestibility - Working with extrusion, drying, blending, baking, or similar food processing technologies - Supporting scale-up and troubleshooting during production runs - Conducting stability checks, sensory panels, and nutritional validations - Maintaining documents such as formulations, test logs, SOPs, and regulatory data - Following hygiene, safety, and FSSAI requirements at all times - Handling sourcing of raw materials/packaging materials and collaborating with operations and packaging teams as required Skills & competencies required for this role include: - Strong understanding of ingredient functionality, specifically plant proteins, hydrocolloids, spices, and natural stabilizing systems - Knowledge of texture analysis, process compatibility, and shelf-life considerations - Experience with extrusion, puffing, dehydrated foods, or dry mixes - Familiarity with clean-label concepts and regulatory norms - Problem-solving abilities, enjoyment of hands-on work and data analysis - Ability to independently manage experiments with structured documentation To be eligible for this role, you should have: - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Dairy Technology, or a related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in food R&D, manufacturing, extrusion, snacks, powders, or functional foods - Freshers with strong internships/projects are also welcome to apply,
