NPD - CNC Setting & Programming

Role Overview: As an immediate opening for an Engineering position in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, your primary role will be to be a motivating team member and work towards achieving on-time sample submission. You should be capable of making all types of settings/programs in CNC Lathe for new components, ensuring the part quality meets customer/drawing requirements. Your responsibilities will include making cycle time/process estimations for new parts (CNC) to arrive at a quote, selecting tools and machine parameters as per part requirements in CNC Lathe, and developing turning components as per the time plan with minimum cycle time/cost. Additionally, you will be responsible for corrective and preventive actions for problems identified during the development of new CNC lathe components in the initial stage. You will also be required to identify and record lessons learned for controlling future development activities, analyze failure modes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
