Role Overview: You will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices using Node.js and Nest.js. Your responsibilities will include architecting and maintaining API integrations utilizing AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, and Service Discovery. It will be essential for you to write clean, maintainable, and efficient TypeScript code following industry best practices. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to architect and troubleshoot full-stack applications will also be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will develop robust APIs and microservices, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards, as well as debugging and troubleshooting application performance issues across the entire stack. Driving continuous improvement in development processes, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers will also be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of application infrastructure will be crucial. Qualification Required: - 7+ years of professional experience in software development, focusing on Node.js and TypeScript. - Hands-on experience with Nest.js is highly preferred. - Expertise in designing and developing microservice-based architectures. - Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, Service Discovery, and Secrets Manager. - Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills across the full tech stack. - Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, API design, and versioning. - Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and deployment automation is a plus. - Ability to lead a team, work in a collaborative environment, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
