Node.js Lead

Role Overview: You are being hired as a NodeJS Lead Developer at Persistent. As a senior Node.js Lead, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of web-based applications. Your role will involve designing back-end components, collaborating with front-end developers, and integrating security and data storage solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic - Work with databases like MySQL and NoSql - Implement security and data protection - Integrate data storage solutions such as databases, key-value stores, and blob stores - Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications - Manage a team of Node.js developers and assist them with problem-solving - Write reusable, testable, and efficient code Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 college - Experience in developing web solutions - Proficiency in JavaScript, MongoDB, MySQL, and Node.js frameworks (Express & Hapi Mandatory) - Familiarity with software development lifecycle - Strong knowledge of databases and MySQL/NoSQL in general - Experience with AngularJS/BackboneJS will be a plus Additional Details: Persistent is an AI-led, platform-driven Digital Engineering and Enterprise Modernization partner.
