NodeJs Backend Developer

As a skilled Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable backend services and APIs. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers and product teams to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Your key responsibilities will include: - Develop, test, and maintain scalable Node.js applications and RESTful APIs. - Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices. - Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Troubleshoot and debug production issues and fix bugs. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. - Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and message queues as needed. - Ensure security and data protection measures are in place. - Stay updated with new technologies and suggest improvements. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 2+ years of professional experience working with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Strong knowledge of Express.js or other Node.js frameworks. - Experience building RESTful APIs and working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL). - Familiarity with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth). - Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. - Knowledge of Docker and containerization is a plus. - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
