NodeJs Backend Developer

As a skilled and experienced Node.js Developer, you will be joining our dynamic team with 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in backend development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js. Your deep understanding of modern backend frameworks, cloud services, and scalable microservices architecture will be crucial for the role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable server-side applications using Node.js. - Develop APIs using Express.js and manage API authentication/authorization using JWT and other security best practices. - Build and manage microservice-based architectures for distributed systems. - Work with TypeORM and PostgreSQL for database schema design, queries, functions, stored procedure, and performance tuning. - Implement custom middleware and modular code using TypeScript. - Integrate real-time communication features using WebSockets. - Manage deployment pipelines using Jenkins and CI/CD practices. - Deploy, monitor, and scale applications using AWS and Kubernetes. - Ensure performance, security, and responsiveness of applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. - Maintain proper documentation and participate in code reviews and team meetings. - Work within HIPAA-compliant frameworks and ensure data security and privacy where required. **Required Skills:** - Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Experience with Express.js and building RESTful APIs. - Expertise in PostgreSQL and using TypeORM or other ORMs. - Solid understanding of JWT-based authentication and session management. - Experience in writing and managing middleware. - Good hands-on with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, SQS, Lambda, etc.). - Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins. - Familiarity with WebSockets for real-time features. - Experience in developing and maintaining microservices. - Understanding of software development best practices, including Git workflows, testing, and documentation. **Good to Have:** - Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and handling sensitive health information. - Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch).
