NodeJs Backend Developer

As a Node.js Developer at our company, your primary role will involve developing and maintaining efficient backend services and APIs. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers and product teams to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, testing, and maintaining scalable Node.js applications and RESTful APIs. - Writing clean, modular, and maintainable code following best practices. - Collaborating with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. - Troubleshooting and debugging production issues and fixing bugs. - Participating in code reviews and contributing to team knowledge sharing. - Working with databases (SQL/NoSQL), caching, and message queues as needed. - Ensuring security and data protection measures are in place. - Staying updated with new technologies and suggesting improvements. Qualifications for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 2+ years of professional experience working with Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Strong knowledge of Express.js or other Node.js frameworks. - Experience building RESTful APIs and working with databases (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL). - Familiarity with authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth). - Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. - Knowledge of Docker and containerization is a plus. - Experience with version control tools like Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team. In addition to the technical qualifications, you are required to have 3 years of Node.js experience and 1 year of PostgreSQL experience. This is a full-time position with a fixed shift schedule from Monday to Friday. The work location is in-person.
