Description
As an ideal candidate for the position, you should hold a Degree or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent industry experience. You must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in coding and automation testing using JavaScript technologies, along with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in TypeScript. In addition, you should be well-versed in Automation Testing Techniques and Tools such as Playwright, Cucumber, Appium, and Selenium. Your technical skills should include excellent knowledge in developing and testing scalable and highly available Restful APIs Microservices using JavaScript technologies. You should be capable of creating end-to-end Automation test suites using Playwright or Selenium, preferably following a Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) approach. Practical experience with GraphQL, CI/CD principles, and troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem is essential. Moreover, you should have a good understanding of containerization, experience in Dockers and Kubernetes, and exposure to API gateway integrations like 3Scale. Familiarity with Single-Sign-on or token-based authentication (Rest, JWT, OAuth) and expert knowledge of task/message queues including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Pushpin, and Kafka are also required. Your functional skills should encompass following best Coding, Testing, Security, Unit testing, and Documentation standards and practices, as well as experience in Agile methodology. You should be adept at effectively researching and benchmarking technology against other best-in-class technologies.
