Designation: Node Developer

Experience: 3- 6 years. Location: Chennai Work From Office

Role Summary

We are looking for a passionate Node.js Developer to join our product engineering team. You will

work on building scalable backend systems that power our web and mobile applications. The ideal

candidate is hands-on with Node.js and has experience in designing, developing, and maintaining

production-grade applications with high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js (Express/Nest.js)

and MySQL.

• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions handling large

transaction volumes.

• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated and seamless

product experiences.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, Security Groups, CloudWatch).

• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance using logging and monitoring tools (e.g.,

PM2, Winston, ELK, or Datadog).

• Write and optimize SQL queries, design efficient database schemas, and manage migrations.

• Automate tasks using cron jobs and shell scripting in UNIX environments.

• Ensure application security, reliability, and maintainability through code reviews, testing,

and documentation.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to improving the product architecture

Required Skills

• Core Expertise: Node.js, Express.js (or Nest.js), MySQL

• Frontend Familiarity: Angular or React (preferred but not mandatory)

• Cloud: AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Security Groups)

• Version Control: Git (Bitbucket/GitHub)

• DevOps: Jenkins, Docker, CI/CD pipelines

• Other Tools: PM2, Winston, LogDNA, or equivalent for monitoring

• Operating System: Strong hands-on experience with Linux/UNIX commands and scripting

Good to Have

• Experience with Redis

• Knowledge of API documentation and testing tools (Swagger, Postman)

• Understanding of OAuth2.0 / JWT-based authentication

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Node.js DeveloperRole & responsibilities
