Job Title: Node.js Backend Developer with AWS Expertise Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Node.js Backend Developer with expertise in AWS to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable backend systems and extensive experience with AWS services. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and secure applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js. Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native solutions on AWS. Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployment and automation. Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability. Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation). Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. Knowledge of serverless architecture and frameworks (e.g., AWS SAM, Serverless Framework). Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and ORM tools. Understanding of security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption). Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai, Jest). Knowledge of version control systems like Git. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack). Knowledge of event-driven architecture (e.g., AWS SNS/SQS). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
