NOC Specialist

Role Overview: In this role with priceline.com Site Reliability Operations Team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment where you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of every area of Priceline.com's site. Your main responsibilities will include managing and tracking ticket creation, updates, and escalations, participating in incident bridge calls, adhering to response SLOs/SLAs, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement, monitoring, incident response, and impact mitigation. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and track ticket creation, updates, escalations, and participation in incident bridge calls - Adhere to established response SLOs/SLAs and have a working knowledge of monitoring and support tools - Provide suggestions for process improvements and update documentation - Assist in the training of new hires and transfer knowledge to peers - Monitor and escalate incidents, manage incident lifecycle, and orchestrate between external vendors, SRE, and internal development teams - Analyze and support the continuous improvement of monitoring and incident management capabilities - Maintain communication, incident lifecycle tracking, runbooks, and operational documentation - Report the health and availability of the site and services Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR 3-4 years of relevant work experience - Experience with tools like New Relic, PagerDuty, Splunk, Jira, Confluence - Working experience in Incident Management and Change Management - Prior experience in Operations or a fast-paced, high-stress environment - Solid understanding of Open Source environments and TCP/IP Networking - Self-motivated and able to work independently and within a team in a 24/7 Operations Center - Available for off-hours shift coverage and able to own technical issues as an Incident Commander - Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability, and Trust - Unquestionable integrity and ethics are essential Company Details: Priceline is a part of the Booking Holdings, Inc. family of companies, a highly profitable global online travel company.
