Key Responsibilities Proactively identify, approach and acquire prospective clients for mutual fund schemes and other investment products. Understand client financial goals, risk-profile and investment requirements; recommend appropriate mutual fund schemes. Cross-sell other financial products (e.g., equities, insurance, demat/trading accounts) in coordination with the overall distribution business. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for mutual fund AUM and number of clients onboarded. Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients: follow up, periodic reviews, portfolio-updates and service enquiries. Leverage market research, product updates and competitor intelligence to brief clients and improve product uptake. Conduct client meetings, presentations, seminars and workshop sessions to generate leads and educate clients about mutual funds. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, ARN codes, fund documentation) and internal process - as a mutual fund distributor. Liaise with internal teams (operations, back-office, research) to expedite account openings, investments and onboarding formalities. Prepare reports: pipeline, conversion, client segmentation, product-mix, and present to management.
