Job Description

Night Shift Operations Engineer Oil & Gas (Upstream)

Bachelors in Chemical or Petroleum Engineering

Main Skills - Upstream, DCS or SCADA

Key Responsibilities

Monitor Production
: Use Power BI dashboards and ArcGIS maps to track well performance, respond to SCADA alarms, and alert field teams for troubleshooting.
Coordinate Field Activities
: Provide real-time updates on field operations, dispatch support, and ensure smooth production flow with midstream teams.
Optimize Routes
: Identify opportunities to improve field routes and resource use for day shift teams.
Vendor & Midstream Interface
: Manage production flow to midstream assets and act as the main contact for third-party vendors during night shifts.
Alarm Management
: Handle and escalate alarms, improve system reliability, and reduce false alerts using analytics.
Safety & Security Monitoring
: Monitor safety events, escalate issues, and manage surveillance systems (e.g., cameras, spill detection) with a focus on Blackhawk assets.
