Job Description

As a Network/Security Engineer, your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network architectures in cloud and hybrid environments. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, compliance, and performance across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement Hub-Spoke network topologies in cloud (preferably Azure) and hybrid infrastructures. - Configure, maintain, and optimize Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs) such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Azure Firewall to ensure secure network segmentation and traffic control. - Manage DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and name resolution services to ensure reliability and performance. - Implement network security policies, VPNs, and encryption standards to protect data in transit and prevent unauthorized access. - Monitor network and firewall performance, analyze logs, and troubleshoot latency, routing, and security issues. - Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless integration across environments. - Maintain detailed documentation of network topologies, firewall rules, and configurations to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Key Skills & Qualifications: - 7+ years of experience in network and security engineering, preferably in enterprise or cloud-based environments. - Strong knowledge of Hub-Spoke network architecture and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP. - Hands-on experience with firewall technologies like Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA, or Azure Firewall. - Expertise in DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and load balancing (F5, Azure Front Door, or equivalent). - Proficiency in VPN setup and management (IPSec, SSL). - Familiarity with cloud networking in Azure/AWS including VNet Peering, ExpressRoute, and Private Endpoints. - Understanding of Zero Trust Network Security and Network Access Control (NAC) principles. - Knowledge of network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Zabbix, or Azure Network Watcher. - Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.
