Job Description

As a Network Engineer at NTT DATA, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of AWS networking solutions. Your responsibilities will include configuring and maintaining various components such as Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), subnets, route tables, VPN connections, VPC peering, transit gateways, and Direct Connect for hybrid cloud environments. You will also be involved in setting up and managing security groups, network ACLs, and firewalls to ensure secure network communication within the AWS environment. It will be your responsibility to implement AWS security best practices to safeguard data and applications during transit. Monitoring the performance and health of networking components using tools like AWS CloudWatch, VPC Flow Logs, and other monitoring tools will also be part of your daily tasks. Troubleshooting networking issues related to AWS services and collaborating with the senior team to resolve complex problems will be essential in this role. Additionally, you will assist in automating networking tasks using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS SDKs. Collaborating with other teams involved in AWS migrations to ensure networking configurations are optimized for migration and scalability will be crucial. You will also be supporting the networking aspects of application and database migrations to AWS and assisting in the setup and testing of network-related disaster recovery processes. The role requires the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification at the foundational level. Possessing additional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty, or other network certifications like CompTIA Network+ will be considered advantageous.
