You will be responsible for providing hands-on expertise in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining multi-OEM Firewall, Switching, and Routing technologies. This includes configuring advanced routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP, as well as managing LAN, WAN, WLAN (Aruba, Cisco, Meraki), MPLS, and DMVPN solutions to ensure smooth operation and high availability of network and security services. Your role will involve discovering, designing, executing, validating, and peer reviewing complex change implementations related to data center IT network routing, switching, and security technologies while adhering to organizational standards. You will also be tasked with implementing end-to-end connectivity solutions between remote offices, cloud platforms, and data centers based on business unit requirements. Additionally, you will design and implement multi-cloud network architectures, focusing on AWS or other public cloud providers, and deploy and manage Cisco SD-WAN solutions to ensure optimal application performance and secure connectivity. Furthermore, you will administer and troubleshoot various firewall platforms including Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and NSX Firewall, configure and manage IPsec VPNs, AnyConnect, Global Protect, Cisco ISE, Cisco ACS, and ZScaler, and maintain accurate network diagrams, configurations, and procedural documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional IT teams and business units to understand requirements and deliver solutions will also be a key aspect of your role. In terms of skills and competencies, you should have a strong proficiency in Routing and Switching (OSPF, BGP), extensive experience with Cisco Nexus Switches (5000, 7000, 9000 series), and a solid understanding of MPLS and DMVPN. Exposure to other enterprise networking platforms like Brocade, Arista, Juniper, Dell Data Centre switches is considered a plus. Hands-on expertise with leading firewalls such as Check Point, Fortinet, Palo Alto, NSX Firewall, and experience with Network Access Control (NAC) solutions like Cisco ISE and Cisco ACS are also required. Moreover, proficiency in IPsec VPN, AnyConnect, Global Protect VPN clients, knowledge of ZScaler or other secure web gateway solutions, experience with Aruba Wireless Controllers, Cisco Wireless (WLCs, APs), Cisco Prime, and Meraki, integration of wireless networks with security solutions like Cisco ISE, demonstrable experience with Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela or Meraki), and expertise in multi-cloud network design and implementation, specifically with AWS networking components or other major cloud providers are essential for this role. Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment are also key qualifications required.
