Network System Engineer

As a Network System Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure of our office in Powai, Mumbai. Your role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications. You should have a strong understanding of network configuration, user management, troubleshooting, and security protocols. Additionally, you will provide IT support to employees, manage permissions, and maintain up-to-date IT records. Key Responsibilities: - Configure and maintain the office network, including routers, switches, and wireless access points. - Ensure network security with firewalls, antivirus software, and other security protocols. - Troubleshoot network issues and optimize network performance. - Provide technical support to office employees for hardware, software, and Microsoft Office Suite. - Assist in setting up and maintaining office devices like computers, printers, and peripherals. - Manage permissions for new and exiting employees during onboarding and offboarding processes. - Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets, track assignments, and perform timely maintenance. - Purchase, install, and configure IT equipment as needed. - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights according to company policies. - Implement security protocols, encryption, backups, and user access controls. - Educate employees on IT policies and best practices for network and data security. - Administer software updates, patches, and ensure compliance with IT policies. - Coordinate with external vendors for IT services, repairs, and purchases. - Assist in IT project planning and execution, including upgrades and new system implementations. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Network System Engineer, IT Administrator, or similar role. - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Windows operating systems, and basic networking. - Experience in network configuration, security, firewalls, and antivirus software. - Proficiency in managing permissions, user accounts, and IT asset management. - Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. - Familiarity with IT policies, security protocols, and best practices. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. - Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCITP are a plus. - At least 2+ years of experience in IT administration or a related field.,
