Role Description

The Network Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves monitoring network performance, responding to incidents, and providing technical support for network-related issues across switches, routers, firewalls, and other infrastructure components. The Network Support Engineer will diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity problems, implement configuration changes, and assist with routine maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal uptime and reliability. The role includes collaborating with engineering and security teams to maintain secure network environments, documenting procedures and solutions, and supporting users with network access and related inquiries. The individual will follow established processes and best practices while contributing to continuous improvement of network operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering for managing and optimizing LAN/WAN environments.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for resolving network incidents and user-reported issues.
• Candidates should possess Network Security skills for implementing secure configurations, access controls, and basic firewall policies.
• Relevant skills such as familiarity with routing and switching protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF), and experience with common network hardware and monitoring tools.
• Beneficial qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and certifications such as CCNA, Network+, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, ability to document configurations and procedures, and willingness to work on-site in a collaborative team environment in Hyderabad.
