Network SRE Implementation

As a Network SRE Implementation Engineer at UBS, your role will involve building cutting-edge network infrastructure and implementing reliable and scalable network solutions. You will be part of a team that shapes the future of network reliability by: - Building new infrastructure based on the latest Arista network infrastructure - Creating high-level design documents (HLD) ensuring the solution is risk adverse, appropriately sized, in line with internal standards, and cost-effective - Keeping up to date with network technology and having a willingness to continue learning - Identifying and managing business risks and issues, conducting impact assessments, and identifying potential areas of conflict across work streams, business units, and projects Your expertise should include: - Strong hands-on expertise with Arista EOS, Junos, Cisco IOS, and Nexus network operating systems - Experience managing Fortinet firewall platforms and using FortiManager for centralized administration - Proficiency in SkyHigh Proxy and Citrix Load Balancers, with deep familiarity across their platform capabilities - Proven ability to support and maintain large-scale network and security infrastructures - Experience in proactive and reactive troubleshooting of complex network and security environments - Strong background in Network Automation using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs to streamline configuration and deployment - Familiarity with DevOps practices for Networking, including Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent and automated network provisioning - Strong soft skills including technical documentation, cross-team collaboration, time management, and a can-do attitude focused on performance and customer satisfaction About UBS: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
