Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned

Network Security SME

to provide expertise in

cybersecurity controls, network security, and cloud security

. The candidate will work on

risk management, threat analysis, and compliance

, collaborating with global teams to ensure robust and secure network operations.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage
cybersecurity controls
and policies across network and cloud environments.
Conduct
threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and risk mitigation
for network and security systems.
Provide expertise in
anti-malware, firewalls, proxies, MSS, and TCP/IP
protocols.
Ensure compliance with
regional and global security regulations
and standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive
security improvements and change initiatives
.
Create
detailed reports
documenting security findings, recommendations, and mitigation plans.
Support
cryptographic key management
and associated solutions.
Stay updated with
industry trends, emerging threats, and cybersecurity technologies
.
Mentor and guide teams on
best practices in cybersecurity and network security
.

Required Technical Skills

Deep understanding of
cybersecurity controls, frameworks, and methodologies
(OWASP, ISO2700x, PCI DSS, NIST, CIS, GLBA, FFIEC, EU Data Security & Privacy Acts).
Hands-on experience with
IDS/IPS, HIPS, Advanced Anti-malware, Firewalls, Proxies, MSS
.
Strong knowledge of
network protocols
: TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, HTTP, and network analysis tools.
Experience with
cloud platforms
: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
Familiarity with
enterprise technology infrastructure
: Windows, Linux, middleware, databases, networking hardware.
Knowledge of
cryptographic key management
and related security solutions is desirable.
Excellent
reporting and documentation skills
.

Soft Skills / Competencies

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Decision-making capabilities considering risks, commercial realities, and stakeholders needs.
Self-motivated, high sense of urgency, and personal integrity.
Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external teams.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and threats.

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum
2-3 years of hands-on experience
in IT or cybersecurity roles.
Proven experience in
operational management of cybersecurity tools and processes
.
Track record of
risk and compliance management
in a similar organization.
Degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering
, or allied disciplines.
Relevant certifications:
CISSP, CISA, CISM
.
Experience in
financial or highly regulated environments
is preferred.
