Network Security Engineer CCNA

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive

  firewall administrative support

  , including troubleshooting, configuration changes, upgrades, compliance checks, monitoring, and regular backups.
• Apply a good understanding of various

  security technologies

  such as Site-to-Site VPN, SSL VPN, NAT (Network Address Translation), ACL (Access Control Lists), IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems), and NGFW (Next-Generation Firewall) features.
• Utilize exposure to

  Security Tools

  like Algosec, FMC (Firepower Management Center), JSP (likely refers to Juniper Security Platform or a similar tool), and CSM (Cisco Security Manager or similar).
• Respond to security incidents and provide initial troubleshooting and resolution.
• Ensure network security configurations comply with organizational policies and industry best practices.
• Assist in implementing security measures to protect network infrastructure and data.

Skills Requirement:

• Good exposure to and hands-on experience with

  firewall administration, troubleshooting, and configuration

  .
• Strong understanding of fundamental

  security technologies

  including VPNs (Site-to-Site, SSL), NAT, ACLs, and IPS.
• Familiarity with

  NGFW features

  .
• Exposure to security tools such as

  Algosec, FMC, JSP, and CSM

  is preferable.

• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)

  certification is highly desirable, demonstrating foundational networking knowledge.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing network and security issues.
• Attention to detail for compliance and configuration management.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
