Job Description

A Network Security Architect designs, implements, and manages a company's network security infrastructure to protect against cyber threats. Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, developing security policies, implementing firewalls and VPNs, staying updated on threats, performing security audits and penetration testing, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They collaborate with other teams to align security strategy with business goals and often work with security tools and scripting languages like Python.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Strategy:
Develop comprehensive network security strategies, design security architectures, and create blueprints and models to strengthen security.
Risk Management:
Conduct risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, anticipate threats, and devise mitigation strategies.
Implementation:
Deploy and manage security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and single sign-on (SSO) solutions.
Monitoring and Testing:
Monitor security systems, perform regular security audits, conduct vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, and analyze security logs.
Policy and Compliance:
Develop and implement corporate security procedures, ensuring adherence to national and international regulations and standards.
