Network L2 Engineers / Network Administrator

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, bachelors degree in science, Information Technology, or Engineering in a related field.
• 5-7 Yrs of NOC or Networking Service Provider Experience

Required Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, Firewall routing, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with CLI and GUI across Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and F5 platforms.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG)
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), ITIL Foundation certification or understanding of incident/change management
• Exposure to cloud networking and security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• ITIL Foundation certification or understanding of incident/change management

Required Skills and Experience

Senior Network Administrator is a highly skilled and experienced professional who plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of an organization's network infrastructure.

• Proven expertise in implementation, and troubleshooting, including familiarity with various network technologies (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, WAF, Vulnerability Scan & Management tool, NMS, cloud networking, SD-WAN, VLAN, WLC, AP, Azure Cloud and GCP Cloud Networking).
• Install, configure, and upgrade network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, WLC, Access Point, IDS / IPS, Load Balancer) and software.
• Monitor network performance, identify and address issues, and perform regular maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose and resolve network problems, both common and complex.
• Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, access control, and VPNs, to protect against threats.
• Extensive knowledge in device hardening and deployed for effective use with security impact minimized
• Plan, schedule, and execute network projects, often leading cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot network issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
• Experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers, delegating tasks effectively, and driving results
• Maintain clear and comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
