Job Description

In this role as a Network Fulfilment Engineer at Capgemini in Chennai, you will be empowered to shape your career and help leading telecom and enterprise organizations unlock the value of next-generation networking technologies. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding and reviewing business requirements, high-level designs (HLD), and low-level designs (LLD). - Preparing provisioning procedures, Method of Procedure (MoP) documents for migration, upgrades, and configuration templates. - Testing and validating configurations in lab environments to ensure smooth rollout in production. - Delivering solutions across lab, preproduction, and production environments and handing over to operations. - Owning the lifecycle of assigned platforms including commissioning, maintenance, and retirement. - Automating implementation procedures using NETCONF-YANG models and Python scripting. Qualifications required for this role include: - Nokia NRS II certification or equivalent industry experience. - Strong hands-on experience with Nokia 7750 SR platforms. - Deep understanding of IP networking and routing/switching protocols including MPLS, LDP, ISIS, MP-BGP. - Experience with VPN services (VPLS, VPRN), QoS, EVPN, and debugging/mirroring services. - Knowledge of firewalls, Spine-Leaf architecture, and VxLAN is a plus.
