Network Engineer

You will play a vital role in the team at Netweb Technologies as a Network Engineer. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing Level 2 or Level 3 expertise for incident and problem management. - Responding to security incidents and conducting thorough root cause analysis. - Implementing measures to mitigate risks and enhance network security. - Improving the efficiency and performance of existing networks. - Configuring and optimizing network equipment, including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN/LAN/VLAN/interVLAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP. - Procuring network equipment based on project needs. - Managing subcontractors involved in network installation. - Ensuring successful implementation and integration of network equipment. - Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. - Implementing security policies and protocols. - Continuously monitoring network performance and proactively identifying and resolving issues. - Investigating faults and implementing necessary measures for fault resolution. - Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases. - Planning and arranging scheduled upgrades for network equipment. - Coordinating with relevant teams to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth transitions. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree (BTECH) in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). - Minimum of 4 years" experience as a Network Administrator, with a focus on Routing & Switching technologies. - CCNA/CCNP certification. - Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs. - Proficiency in configuring and supporting network equipment, such as routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN/LAN/VLAN/interVLAN accelerators, DNS, and DHCP. - Experience in managing subcontractors involved in network installations. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project management teams and clients.
