Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in routing, switching, and managing LAN/WAN environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Manage and troubleshoot LAN and WAN connectivity issues to ensure high availability.
Implement network security measures and monitor for vulnerabilities.
Perform regular network performance analysis and capacity planning.
Collaborate with IT teams to support network-related projects and upgrades.
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide technical support and resolve escalated network issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of
Routing and Switching protocols
(e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, VLANs).
Experience with
LAN/WAN technologies
and topologies.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting
Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices
.
Familiarity with
TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, VPNs
.
Understanding of
network security principles
and firewall configurations.

Tools & Platforms:

Network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios).
Hands-on experience with
Cisco IOS
or similar CLI environments.

Certifications (Preferred):

CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Experience:

25 years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
