Job Description

Job Summary:

Sets standards for the design, maintenance, documentation, and upgrades of all networks.

Responsibilities:

Maintains availability of system including assisting installation at plant sites, providing support to current users, monitoring the system and troubleshooting issues.
Evaluates emerging trends in the IT field and the org.
Defines performance metrics and baselines of applications and networks
Models and simulates network environments.
Defines technology strategy.
Designs IA systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills Requirements:

Must have project management skills.
Publishes / demonstrates leadership skills.
Must be able to educate staff.
Establishes and fosters strategic vendor alliances.

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree, first degree or Trade/Vocational school certificate or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or computer related discipline required. PMP / CISSP certifications. Masters degree.

Physical Requirements:

Occasionally exert up to 10 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift or otherwise move objects. Have visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data; and/or viewing a computer terminal. Type and/or sit for extended periods of time. Consistent attendance is an essential function of the job.
