Network Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Responsibilities Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation. Implement security measures to safeguard the network against threats. Configure and maintain VPNs for remote access to the network. Document network configurations and changes for compliance and audit purposes. Collaborate with IT support and other teams to resolve technical issues. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance network performance. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in network administration or related roles. Proficient in network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and network monitoring tools. Strong understanding of network security practices and procedures. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
