Job Description

As a Network and Zscaler Support/Operations professional with over 6 years of relevant technical experience, you will be responsible for managing and configuring Zscaler policies and rules, troubleshooting Zscaler issues, configuring forwarding profiles, app profiles, and understanding traffic flows for both HTTPS and custom application-based traffic. Your role will involve designing solutions for firewalling and proxy services, blacklisting and whitelisting based on project requirements, and configuring PAC profiles and configurations. You must have in-depth knowledge of Zscaler connection issues, creating and updating application segments, access policies, SSL inspection, and certificate management. Your expertise in routing switching, internet content filtering, and routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP will be crucial. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Zscaler, ZIA, ZPA, and zero trust management, along with a strong understanding of L2 and L3 protocols for IP networks. Troubleshooting skills related to VLANs, VTP, STP, port channels, HSRP, VRRP, GLBP, VSS, VPC, proxy exception rule management, OS upgrades, and proxy centralized management are essential. You should also possess a good understanding of LAN, WAN, internet, monitoring tools, and should be customer-centric. Collaborating with stakeholders and proactively assisting junior team members while following ITIL incident management guidelines will be part of your responsibilities. In this role, you will provide technical leadership within a highly specialized team, focusing on network administration, engineering, operations control, and security. Your communication skills, both in English and technical terms, will be crucial in engaging with team members and clients effectively. You will be expected to follow the ticketing process according to defined change request phases, maintaining a positive attitude, and adding value to the team environment through enthusiasm and knowledge sharing.
