NetSuite Technical Consultant

You will be responsible for developing scripting based on JavaScript and NetSuite requirements in the Suite Cloud development environment. Your role will involve working with Suite Builder, Suite Flow & Suite Analytics, Suite Talk, and Suite Scripts. Collaborating with the functional consulting team, you will deliver NetSuite solutions including customization, scripting, integrations, and support case resolutions. It is essential to document both business and technical requirements and author detailed design/specification documents capturing workflow processes, use cases, exception handling, and test cases. Custom code development using Suite Script to meet business requirements, along with code debugging & troubleshooting, will be part of your daily tasks. You must have hands-on experience in NetSuite Integration with 3rd party applications and be able to plan, research, and provide advice on projects or peripherals involving scripting. A degree in computer science or information technology is required, along with NetSuite development experience using Suite Script 2.0. Critical thinking, problem-solving, design, coding, and debugging skills are essential, as well as a background in software programming including Java script, HTML using methodologies such as DOM, CSS & OO. Database knowledge including Oracle & SQL is necessary, along with skills in integration approaches & strategies, preferably hands-on experience in web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL, etc.). Familiarity with NetSuite overall functions/modules is expected, and the ability to conduct independent research to find the best possible solution for any given requirement is crucial. Ownership mindset, teamwork skills, and strong documentation skills using tools like MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel & G-suite are required.
