What We Need NetBrain is looking for a collaborative and customer-minded leader with a strong technical background in network design and service delivery to join our post-sales organization as Manager, Network Automation Services, working a hybrid schedule out of our Hyderabad office. This person should have be able to use that network operations/design background to understand customer use cases, and they should be experienced in leading high performing services teams. What You'll Do Manage and mentor a team of network automation engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Develop and implement a comprehensive network automation strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Design, deploy, and maintain automation solutions for network configuration, monitoring, and management. Oversee the execution of network automation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions with existing network infrastructure. Monitor and analyze network performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization through automation. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to automation and network performance. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes, procedures, and best practices. Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the automation capabilities of the network. Additional responsibilities as assigned. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) are a plus. 8+ years of experience in network engineering or IT operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focusing on network automation. Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages. Strong understanding of networking protocols and network management systems. The Impact You’ll Make As a Network Assessment & Observability Engineer with NetBrain, you will be the driving force behind adoption of our no-code automation platform within our client accounts. You will work cross-functionally within the customer organization developing relationships with engineers from L1 NOC Engineers to Senior Directors and everyone in between. You'll adapt corporate strategy, design automation architecture, and lead/enable ongoing automation development efforts while utilizing your excellent communication skills to provide leadership, training, and guidance to clients and engineers. Your consultative approach will help you evaluate client requirements, propose solutions, and accelerate automation objectives. You'll also collaborate with NetBrain sales account executives, customer success managers, NetBrain Automation Architects, and Technical Support. What You'll Do Use NetBrain’s reverse engineering technology to discover any network’s golden configurations and golden intents Build automations using NetBrain that can perform network assessments to break down the network in terms of features, network clusters, rules and intents. Learn how new technologies are configured along with the relevant commands/information, and use that information to build network assessments. Architect and customize observability of customer network’s critical infrastructure using automation. Decode common network configurations and features into critical configurations and states. Build and maintain an automated network assessment library. Analyze customer’s deployed network technology, and design documents and create automation solutions. Train customer network engineers to use reverse engineering to assess and observe their networks. Who You Are You have a degree in a technical subject (STEM) or equivalent work experience preferably in a partner/post-sales services or consultant role. You have a minimum of 5 years experience as Network Engineer in planning, designing and optimizing customer networks by performing critical network assessments. You excel in one or more of the following areas: Routing & Switching (R&S), Wireless: You have a deep understanding of enterprise, data center, wireless or service provider networking, and an expertise in routing and switching protocols including, but not limited to BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS, MPLS, etc Security: You have a keen understanding of firewall policies, access controls and segmentation strategies, and experience with security compliance and audits. SD-WAN & Cloud Networking: You are experienced with SD-WAN policies, overlays and transport considerations. You also possess a strong understanding of cloud networking across AWS, Azure and GCP. You’re experience in working with internal and external stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. You are knowledgeable of and experienced with networking fundamentals.
