As a .NET Developer in the Manufacturing Domain, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications within the manufacturing or industrial automation industry. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and C#. - Developing and consuming RESTful Web APIs for seamless integration across manufacturing systems. - Collaborating with various teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Supporting integration with ERP, MES, SCADA, or shop-floor systems. - Developing and supporting Windows-based applications for machine data collection and production monitoring. - Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best coding standards. - Working with Microsoft SQL Server for efficient database design, stored procedures, triggers, and query optimization. - Performing debugging, troubleshooting, and production support activities. - Preparing and maintaining technical documentation and system design artifacts. - Participating in Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications: - 24 years of hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, Web API, and Entity Framework. - Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, stored procedures, and performance tuning. - Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3. - Basic to intermediate exposure to manufacturing domain systems such as MES, ERP, SCADA, or shop-floor applications. - Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns. - Familiarity with version control tools like Git and Agile tools such as Azure DevOps or JIRA. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. Additionally, the following skills would be beneficial: - Exposure to Cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure) and deployment of .NET applications. - Experience with Windows Services, WPF, or WinForms. - Basic knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC, Modbus, or similar. - Awareness of manufacturing data flows, production planning, and reporting tools like Power BI. - Exposure to Industrial IoT (IIoT) or smart manufacturing initiatives. Education: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
