.Net Developer (Contractual) || VGL Group || Jaipur WFO

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled .NET Developer with a strong foundation in

VB.NET, C#, ADO.NET, ORM frameworks, SQL, and Crystal Reports. The ideal

candidate will also demonstrate hands-on experience or strong familiarity with AI tools

that can accelerate and enhance the software development lifecycle. You will work

closely with our development and business teams to build, maintain, and optimize

enterprise-grade applications with robust performance, scalability, and reporting

capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop and web-based applications using

VB.NET and C#.

• Implement data access using ADO.NET and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework,

Dapper).

• Good knowledge of MVC and MVVM Architecture.

• Develop and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database

schema.

• Create, customize, and optimize Crystal Reports for business reporting needs.

• Integrate AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor AI, etc.) to enhance

code quality, speed up development, and automate repetitive tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyse

business processes, and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Ensure best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and security.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Stay up to date with emerging AI-driven development tools and industry trends.

Required Skills:

• Programming Languages: C#,VB.NET

• Data Access: ADO.NET, ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, Dapper, etc.)

• Database: SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, indexing

• Reporting Tools: Crystal Reports – design, integration, optimization

AI Tools Knowledge: GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI coding assistants

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design

patterns

• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in migrating legacy VB.NET applications to modern architectures

using C#.

• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) is a plus
