Combined Job DescriptionSenior C# Backend Engineer (REST API)We are looking for a seasoned Senior C# Backend Engineer to design and develop robust RESTfulAPIs using .NET technologies.The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Entity Framework, domain-driven design (DDD),and SOLID principles. You will be responsible for building scalable and maintainable backendservices, writing unit tests using xUnit and Moq, and collaborating with cross-functional teams todeliver high-quality software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core
• Apply domain-driven design principles to model complex business domains
• Utilize Entity Framework for data access and persistence
• Write comprehensive unit tests using xUnit and Moq to ensure code quality
• Follow SOLID principles and clean architecture practices
• Collaborate with front-end developers to define API contracts and integration points
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of backend services
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
• Proficiency with Entity Framework and LINQ
• Solid understanding of domain-driven design and SOLID principles
• Experience writing unit tests with xUnit and mocking with Moq
• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) - Knowledge of security
